This semi-polished piece of agate on a metal base reveals an interior covered with fine greyish-white quartz crystals with a botryoidal texture. Layers of chalcedony and quartz grew gradually inside a cavity in the rock, creating an irregular, organic pattern. The piece serves as a standalone sculptural form with a raw, mineral character.

Agate is a hard and durable stone, but its crystalline areas collect dust, so they are best cleaned with a dry, soft brush.
