This substantial block of selenite weighing 10–15 kg becomes both a light source and a sculptural object. The inner layers of the mineral diffuse the light, highlighting its milky translucency, fibrous patterning and possible warm tones linked to the presence of goethite. When switched off, the lamp retains the character of a raw mineral form.
