This raw cluster of smoky quartz forms a dense composition of sharply terminated crystals in graphite and dark brown tones. The smoky colour results from natural radiation acting on trace amounts of aluminium within the quartz structure. The piece works as a standalone sculptural form on a shelf, table or in a display case.

Smoky quartz may lighten with prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. The sharp crystal points are sensitive to impact, so they are best cleaned with a dry, soft brush.
