Two sections of an amethyst geode shaped into wings and mounted on a metal stand create a light, symmetrical composition. The violet crystals, whose colour comes from trace amounts of iron, contrast with the pale greyish-white chalcedony rim. The piece serves as a standalone sculptural form with a distinctive silhouette.

Amethyst may lose colour saturation in direct sunlight. The crystals are best cleaned with a dry, soft brush.
