About the necklace
A single piece of Amethyst, polished into a clean rectangular drop, hung from a fine waxed cord.
The colour is all the stone's doing, soft lilac and violet running through pale, smoky bands, no two ever the same. The cord is a warm walnut brown, knotted so you can adjust the length to sit exactly where you want it.
It's the kind of necklace that doesn't ask for attention but holds it anyway.
